Donations & Volunteers

We have faced unprecedented, back-to-back floods this spring that have caused us massive setbacks and hardship — and we are asking for community support.

A flood in February which covered half of our farm in icy water forced us to reconsider our growing beds. We dug up hundreds of plants to save them from being submerged. We’d been working to replant them and change the entire farm so that our plants are moved to higher ground in our floodplain farm that could be protected in similar flood conditions. On April 3rd, after weeks of intense storms and record setting rain, the National Weather Prediction Service issued warning the Ohio River would rise to levels that surpass the historic flood of 2018 and many prior, and is when we learned it would flood the entirety of our farm by April 6th. Our solar panels, our greenhouses, all of our plants, new gardens, shed, even our brand new roadside stand would be submerged underwater for 7 agonizing days.

In addition to spring annual crop loss and investment crop loss (roses, peonies, woody shrubs, trees) we are sure to face, we are going to face immense setbacks for planting vegetables and flowers as we clean up our farm.

Please consider supporting us through a donation below, or signup to volunteer for cleanup if you feel able and inclined.

You can also support us by sharing this page, our social media page, purchasing goods / services from us when we are back to growing.

Thank you for supporting our mission of sustainable farming.
